Annotation

As the recent rise in the body of contact literature in general, and especially in Anglo-Arab fiction, has spotted a big shift in its aim, this study asserts that it is high time for researchers to make a similar shift in scholarly research on literary code-switching. Contact literature is becoming progressively concentred on cross-cultural negotiations.
