Annotation

A previous inquiry has displayed that judging moral dilemmas in a foreign language causes utilitarian consistent responses, due to the raised cognitive and emotional distance of that language. In this inquiry, it is adopted that foreign-language effect might be removed when a foreign language becomes a second language. It is also possible that other influential factors in moral judgment, like general embracement of moral rules, thinking style and working memory influence moral decision-making.
