Annotation

In Turkey, as in much of the rest of the non-Anglophone world, universities are proposing an raising number of courses via English Medium Instruction (EMI) rather than via the medium of the first language (L1). Prior research has examined teacher and student perceptions and attitudes towards EMI and the challenges they face. This study pays more attention to institutional variables like year of study, private or state universities and students’ gender.
