Annotation

This paper explores the notion of speaker authenticity in the context of waning ‘Francoprovençal’, which has long been losing ground to the dominant language(s) with which it is in contact. Novel speakers started to appear within the context of revival movements and activities that led to more propitious language planning policies and enhanced literacy.
