Annotation

This paper proposes a research framework that finalizes how, when, and why involvement with stories is able to foster social cognition. This Social Processes and Content Entrained by Narrative (SPaCEN) framework assumes that stories could support social cognition either via (1) frequent engagement of social-cognitive processes or (2) the presentation of explicit content on social relations and the social world.
