Annotation

Assuming an ethnographic method to linguistic data from Azerbaijani and Uzbek communities, this study tracks the affect of diverse 'chronotopes' (cfr. Bakhtin 1981) on partakers’ ethnolinguistic identification acts. Chronotopes diverge as to their force, depending on the ideological power behind them.
