This paper employs narrative data from domestic migrant-worker returnees to Indonesia to explore their employment of codeswitching in storytelling. The Domestic-worker returnees partook in sharing sessions, and spoke about the experienced trauma whilst laboring overseas as domestic helpers. Codeswitching (CS) was broadly employed for addressee specification and emotional alignment.
