The assay of advising sessions has identified common standards of the profession in areas like advising abilities used and non-verbal communicative practices. There are many variations in advisor conduct due to dissimilarities in cognitive processes. This inquiry employed a stimulated recall method to distinguish the content of inner thought categories of eight learning advisors-in-action during individual advising sessions.
