This inquiry claims that newspeakerism conduces to grasping migrants’ roles in the linguistic disputes of minority‐language societies like Catalonia; especially, the manners in which they invest in majority languages, following nation‐state monolingual regimes which penetrate as doorkeepers to post‐national citizenship.
