Annotation

Relevance-theoretic pragmatics has assayed expressives in procedural phrases. Their procedural meaning controls the building of attitudinal descriptions. Expressive APs and expletive NPs produce shorter-ranging attitudinal descriptions. Expressive APs and expletive NPs are transmitted from diverse lexical categories. Lexical pragmatic processes can clarify such transmissions.
