Annotation

This paper proposes two studies exploring the effect of formal interpreting training (FIT) on Working Memory Capacity (WMC) of student–interpreters. The results can be regarded as proof bolstering the belief that FIT had a favorable impact on the interpreting abilities of student–interpreters and on the central executive and processing capacity of their WM.
