McGhee presented a sense of humor model covering the six “humor abilities” of humor delight, verbal humor, laughter, noticing humor in everyday life, laughing at yourself, and humor under strain, gauged with the Sense of Humor Scale (SHS). This inquiry assesses the psychometric features of the SHS (revised version from 1999) and generates a parallel SHS form to reduplicate the item number for each humor ability.
