McGhee limned the skill to laugh at yourself as the malleable fifth out of six facets shaping the sense of humor and made it quantifiable by covering it in the Sense of Humor Scale. This inquiry explored whether individuals (N=78) could laugh at photos in which their face was contorted and mocking headings were attached. Moreover, as two eventual pre-conditions of being capable to laugh at yourself, admission and significance of one’s physical appearance were examined.
