Annotation

Whilst humor's attraction lies, characteristically, in its very spontaneity and idiomatic contextual inanity, there is also the possibility of an ‘afterlife’ for the humorous text. This article proposes a theorization of a mutual dependence between author, text, and collocutors for the ‘immortality’ of texts.
