Annotation

This paper deals with synonymous isomorphism in complex expressions and asserts that diverse philosophers of language state that synonymous isomorphism is not stern satis. Kit Fine claims that what he terms semantic relationism requires a drastically novel idea of semantics. Nathan Salmon has asserted that the pertinent phenomenon is fully pragmatic, wholly non-semantic and adds to the case with a novel argument: no cognition without recognition—or nearly none.
