This paper argues that rap music (cfr. two video clips posted on YouTube in 2014 and the web comments to them) destigmatises indigenous languages (in this case Yucatec Maya (Mexico) and Mapudungun (Chile)), particularly amid youths, and contributes to their revitalisation.
