This inquiry complies with Dewaele’s instillation that multilingualism is related to both cognitive and psychological shifts. It examines one specific scantly explored link, viz. the link between bi- and multilingualism and human basic values, in this case amid primary school children (incipient bilinguals and functional bi- and multilinguals) in South Tyrol.
