Annotation

Inquiry on neoliberalism and language commodification has not yet satisfactorily focused pedagogy. Using a four-year ethnography in Hong Kong, this paper lists the processes whereby social actors phrased pedagogy as a ‘commodity register’ to cause difference, itemize normative roles and expedient social personae.
