Study abroad chances can notably conduce to higher education students' growth. The profits of such chances though may be affected by partakers’ preparation experiences and future-oriented idea patterns previous to study abroad. This study examined lived and imagined preparation experiences of future English language teachers from Turkey who selected a 4-month study abroad in England.
