Sole the post-truth could explain how a racist, misogynistic, neo-nationalist member of the economic elite, viz. President Trump, could win a presidential election (in 2016). This study, inspired by Barbara Christian, criticizes post-truth critics for disregarding the material tradition of ideological criticism.
