This paper explores dark humour in Internet posts commenting on an online Italian newspaper report edited by Il Fatto Quotidiano and dedicated to the 2016 terrorist assault in Nice. It centers on the linguistic forms and socio-pragmatic functions of this dark humour in the aftermath of the disaster.
