in 2015, Spain set novel citizenship exigencies for immigrants, which increased the inferiority of other co-official languages like Galician, Basque and Catalan. In order to fulfill this legal exigency, immigrants must take two exams. This study assays some of the discourses that environed the start of the novel DELE testing regime.
