Annotation

This study explored word acquisition by children attending bilingual Hebrew–Arabic kindergartens on a fast mapping task. These early sequential bilinguals covered those with Hebrew and those with Arabic as their home languages. Fast mapping is honed by multilingual experience, and can be sensitive to sociolinguistic facets like diglossia.
