This inquiry explores the relative processing efficacy of two typologically varied sentential negation configurations: directly preverbal NEG and infinite clause-final NEG. The opposing conduct of Spanish and Palenquero NEG accents the potential role of processing motions as conducing to typological contrasts amid languages.
