Annotation

This study states the receptive-expressive gap may be harder to valuate than formerly thought. It collates the feat of 116 6-year-old Spanish–English bilingual children in the US to 30 monolingual Spanish-speaking peers in Mexico across two Spanish-language standardized picture naming tests. Existence and size of a receptive-expressive gap mostly relied on the employed tests.
