Annotation

This assay proposed a pragmatic cue helping new adjective acquisition amid 32 Spanish–German bilingual (B) and 28 German monolingual (M) 5-year-olds. B and M children render pragmatic cues otherwise when acquiring new adjectives. The outcome helps the leading role of the superior temporal sulcus (STS) in processing pragmatic gestures and presents raised pragmatic sensitivity for bilingual children.
