Annotation

This article examines how Relevance Theoric views can be used to fix image-makers' duties. It mainly resorts to the inferential processes entailed in explicit and implicit content recovery to assay a set of covers from The Economist, where visuals linked with verbal text impact allusions to films and paintings. These allusions not plainly don the audience’s attention but also aid the analyst to rebuild the cover argument.
