This study surveys the state of the Danish-language situation in Sanpete County (US) and splits the Danish linguistic parts into two key categories: overt and covert. The assay of these items uses the postvernacular language use concept, and underlines the female and domestic-linked transfer networks. It presents a glint of the final stages of full language shift.
