This paper explores the morphosyntax of American Norwegian noun phrases that display mixing between Norwegian and English and presents a formal assay of these. It claims that an exoskeletal method to grammar is fully fit to catch this empirical pattern, and that this method meets the ideal of a Null theory of language mixing.
