This paper handles narrative and discursive strategies of class-selective and occasion-driven ace AY and Elenu's stand-up comedy in Nigeria. Data are gathered via media mediated performances (MMP) on VCD. Data on the discursive strategies, topicality and subject matter of AY and Elenu’s jokes are assayed and debated.
