This assay explores the Nigerian stand-up comedy from the view of a multimodal-ESP theory to genre assay. This theory takes note of joke-texts and visual traits that raise the feat. The inquiry shows that stage management, nonverbal cues, speeches, body postures, and music/sounds confer to the genre's communicative value and output.
