Annotation

This paper examines the humor and parody use in Wole Soyinka’s most recent play Alápatà Apátà, in which people viewed a reincarnation of Moses Olaiya. Soyinka centers on the nature of Moses Olaiya and examines the misapplication of Yoruba language’s accent ending in semantic faddiness.
