Annotation

In the Hebrew SOV construction, the subject is topicalized, the object defocalized, and the VP abated. The abated VP holds the newsworthy part. The SOV sentence is contrastively connected with an implicit parallel proposal. SOV is metadiscursively employed for emotive accent of in/decency in ablaze parliamentary debates.
