Annotation

This paper explores the discursive practices of older first-time parents (35–57) in interview interaction in the UK. Using Elizabeth Freeman’s ‘chrononormativity’ concept, this assay shows that ‘older parents’ engage in notable discursive work to bridge temporal facets of their parenting.
