Annotation

This article explores the level to which children of Moroccan origin living in Antwerp, Belgium preserve their ability in their parents’ heritage language (HL), the level to which they acquire and speak Dutch, and how their parents' and siblings' HL/language use affect this. Data stem from over 300 children.
