Annotation

This inquiry assays the impact of the L1 (Spanish/Catalan) on multilingual university students’ attitudes and motivation (A&M) to acquire English in the bilingual area of the Balearic Islands (BI). It infers that, in the BI, there are other factors fixing A&M like linguistic self-reliance, cultural concern, international stance and cooperation.
