Annotation

This inquiry examines how native and non-native English speakers read emotional expression cues in native English speakers, text-only messages in two studies. Findings conduce to theoretical growth in multilingual socioemotional communication in computer-mediated settings and impact design of technologies to bolster socioemotional text-based communication between native and non-native speakers.
