Annotation

The assays of three extracts of a multi-party conversation from a Chinese dinner table show that in a triad implying a relational coalition of two partakers, the (im)politeness in some speech acts can be expanded or changed in specific contexts, which is culturally inspired and conditioned by the interpersonal relationships amid the diverse parties.
