Annotation
Multilingualisms in the memories, dreams, intricate selves, materiality and abetments of subsisting have yet to get adequate attention from linguists. This paper tries to capture these aspects and states that southern multilingualisms have much to present and tempt northern multilingualisms. It elucidates how multilingual repertoires are tightly integrated with mobilities and temporalities of dislocation and shift; with loss, nostalgia and the anticipation of new onsets; and with multi-scaled abetments between individuals as they re-calibrate lives in tippy and shifting circumstances.
