Annotation

This study states that language anxiety in the immigrant context, in both its heritage language anxiety (HLA) and majority language anxiety (MLA) manifestations, can be ascribed to linguistic and socioemotional causes. A vicious cirkle links bilinguals’ language knowledge, language use and language anxiety. Data stem from three generations of Turkish immigrants in the Netherlands (n?=?30).
