Annotation

This paper uses Pierre Bourdieu’s model of linguistic production and circulation to assay the oral linguistic biographies of six second-generation British-Arabs in Cardiff in order to grasp the conditions which allow the production, reproduction and negotiation of linguistic practices with Arabic in Cardiff despite their illegality.
