This inquiry examined the expectations that a group of immigrants (N?=?271) from the Former Soviet Union (FSU) hoped to fulfill in their adopted society (Montreal, Canada), the level to which these expectations have been fulfilled, and the influence of fulfilled expectations on psychological adjustment.
