Debating examples of satiric irony produced by the extreme right and by the (often mainstream) left, this article pairs two satirical memes, two activists' use of irony, two ambiguously satirical tweets, and two recent controveries relating to racism and satire in order to exemplify how people with very distinct political commitments use a similar style with powerful effects.
