Annotation

This study explored whether short-term and working memory skills that underlie language abilities differ between (English-Mandarin) sequential bilingual and (English and Mandarin) monolingual 4–6-year-old children. Bilinguals’ lexis scores showed stronger correlations with working and short-term memory than the monolinguals’.
