Annotation

This case study, involving six multilingual Singaporean raters, (1) examines multilingual raters’ judgements regarding the accentedness and comprehensibility of second language speech and (2) explores how the raters’ language backgrounds affect their judgements. The results suggested that notably the proficiency balance between multiple languages in early childhood, are related to their rating judgement.
