The book deals with atypical examples of demonstratives/determiners in different languages. The volume consists of two parts. The first part discusses the morpho-syntactic aspects of some atypical demonstratives, and it also discusses topics concerning the morpho-syntax/grammar of demonstratives in general. The second part addresses semantic and pragmatic topics, some of which are the issues relating to indirect and direct reference, epistemic aspects, grammaticality and pragmatics, typological variations.
