O. examines (i) the relation between 'turn-yielding', transition-relevance places, and linguistic properties, (ii) the length of a speaker's turns, (iii) the listener's activity, and (iv) simultaneous speech and interruption. The data are related to sex and age, and also to the manner of recording.
