R. develops the principles of a symbolic logic which is also intended to contribute to an analysis and understanding of conversational language. Throughout, the emphasis is on the applicability of the logistic symbolism to the meanings of the actual use of language. Thus, in addition to various chapters introducing the logical system, there is an (introductory) chapter on language and logic, the structure and functions of language, and on the analysis of conversational language.
