Annotation
A discussion of the reasons behind the 'successfulness' of athematic metaphors (as opposed to G. Lakoff and M. Johnson's (1980: 'Metaphors we live by') thematic metaphors), with reference to data from Ojibwa. The notions of inherent pragmatics and prototype context are introduced.
