Annotation

On the function of three particles used in the Bavarian dialect spoken in Munich. The three particles are used in different speech acts and introduce different types of arguments. 'Halt' refers to an argument as common knowledge, whereas 'frei' indicates that the argument is new. Discusses also general problems of the interrelation of semantics and pragmatics on the level of geographic variation.
